My name is Frank Ilnicki, but friends and family call me Stoke (short for Stoker). I am a licensed union electrician with knowledge in all trades from working different jobs in construction. I developed a passion for building vans through my love for motocross, the outdoors, and love for the open road. I got my first van back in 2020 which was a 2007 chevy express extended. I used it to go on weekend trips to motocross tracks all over the north east. I quickly fell in love with the motocross van life and knew wanted to get into the van industry. After working in the union for 8 years, I began a new job at local custom van shop. I took the chance to learn more about van builds and left my union job to chase my passion. I worked there for 2.5 years and was a major part of 25 full van builds, as well as doing partial builds and service on countless other vans. After gaining this valuable knowledge and hands-on experience, I knew was ready for the next step. I bought my grandfathers house and started Stoke Van Co. out of the detached garage. My mission is simple: to deliver a long lasting, high quality product crafted the right way.

After working on over a hundred vans, one thing has become clear: many builders overlook the mechanical integrity of their installs. Electrical and plumbing systems are often treated as an afterthought—installed just well enough to work, but without long-term reliability in mind.

I started my own business to take a different approach. I believe that a van is more than just a vehicle - it’s a gateway to nature, new experiences, and personal freedom. Whether you're building a a weekend getaway vehicle or a full-time home on wheels, I will ensure every system is installed with care, precision, and deep technical knowledge.
